By way of browsing and searching the data over the web, users can apply the Internet search capabilities (internet's discovery capability), in the scope of the areas of education, government services, entertainment and buying and selling. To perform these tasks, users usually use:


  • Search engines and Metasearch engines. Search engines are computer programs that look for specific information, using the key words, then the results will be displayed. While the metasearch engine will search using multiple engines at once, and then integrate these findings to answer queries from users.

Communication

There are various types of communication technologies, including e-mail, call center, chat and voice:

  • Electronic mail (e-mail) is an application that works with the largest capacity in the Internet. Many users even replace telephones with e-mail.
