  • AJAX. Is a web development technique that allows multiple sections of a web page for "reload" with new data, rather than having to "reload" the whole web page. 
  • Tagging. Tag is a keyword or term that describes a small piece of information - for example, a blog, pictures, articles or video clip. 
  • Really Simple Syndication (RSS). Allows the user to receive the desired information (customization information), without having to explore the thousands of websites.

  • Web 2.0 applications using a variety of technologies that have been discussed previously. These applications include:
  • Blogs and Blogging. Weblog (blog stands), a personal website, which is open to the public, where the maker of the site to express feelings or opinions. Bloggers are people who create and care for a blog - writing stories, delivering the news and provides links to other articles and websites are becoming preference.
  • Wikis. Wiki is a website where anyone can post the material and make material changes that have been posted.
  • Web 2.0 Media. Web 2.0 media provide a variety of content, including:
  1. Video (Amazon Video on Demand, YouTube, Facebook)
  2. Music (Amazon MP3, Last.fm, Facebook, iTunes)
  3. Photographs (Photobucket, Flickr, Shutterfly, Picasa, Facebook)
  • Netcasting. Netcasting, including the podcasting and video casting, the distribution of digital media in the form of an audio file (podcasting) and video files (videocasting), through syndication feeds, so it can be played by using a digital media player or PC.
  • Printing-on-Demand. Printing-on-demand is customize printing in small quantities. Example applications are CreateSpace, Lulu, Blurb etc.
  • Crowdsourcing, with regard to running a traditional job that is run by employees, consultants and outsource to the job to a group by using the open call format.
