There are two (2) ways of data processing systems, namely:
a. Batch processing, where data is collected from a variety of transactions at the time the transaction occurred, then placed in a group (batch). The system then prepare and process the batch periodically (eg, every night).
b. Online transaction processing (OLTP), in this process business transactions processed online at the time of the occurrence. For example, when we make the payment of the product in a store, the system will record the sale to reduce inventory by one unit, increasing the sales of goods by one unit, as well as increasing the cash position of the store for the amount we paid.
